Man! we were spoiled in this hotel kids said
We have been to quite a few countries and I won’t be exaggerating when I say this is by far our best hotel experience. The staff is what makes this place exceptional, their passion & attention to details are like no other. From Mr Ahmed the hotel manager to restaurants and room service staff, everyone is smiling and welcoming all the time! Mr Ahmed the manager is very professional & helpful. He was always available whenever we needed to make changes to our booking. Staff in main restaurant offered a top notch customer service, each time we walked into the restaurant, kids were greeted and offered special drinks. Also, I was amazed by how clean everything & everywhere was. Will definitely come back next time we visit Egypt. Top highlights: - Friendly Staff - Aqua park was loads of fun for adults & kids - Drinking water bottles available for free - Coffee - Greenery - Nice beach - Well maintained facilities

great place, nice people, if you like all inclusive hotels.
the staff were very friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to help us. we were travelling with kids and my mother in law who recently suffered a stroke and wanted to travel again, and it was a huge effort for her the whole trip, in a wheelchair etc. The hotel were lovely, they picked us up, gave us a fantastic room right on the beach, in the best spot. They were very helpful and accommodating whenever we asked for anything. The design, architecture and styling of the space is very nice, generally made with taste, real materials and even though of course it is a fantasy-land arabic-world inspired construction, I liked the space and what the architects had done. The coral-reef out front is pretty ok (I have been to a few world-class dive sites) and was better than I expected. Some people saw turtles. Beach is nice, and the place in general was SPOTLESS. They water slides added recently were fun.
If I had to criticise, the organisation was a bit chaotic (someone told me the management was changing and they were adapting systems, which could explain it) but sometimes it felt confusing what people told you (opening times, event times, where to ask for what). but on a human level I enjoyed the care and help from the staff. nice people, the Egyptians, in my experience. It was my first time in such a resort, we would never usually come to a place like this and usually prefer independent travelling, backpacking, homestays etc, but as this trip was for my mother in law, in a wheelchair, we decided for this resort to keep things simple and easy for us all. My main disappointment was actually with the other tourists, who were all a bit dead behind the eyes sometimes, switched off in the brain! walking infront of us like zombies at the buffet...maybe that is what goes with packages, people go to not think! then they lie by the (admittedly nice) artificial pool, rather than go snorkel on the real coral reef right outside! strange. Also, the guys coming round upselling the spa or diving or quad-bikes were quite often, but its their job, so what can you do... My experience in Egypt is to use humor, they like to laugh, rather than get annoyed... In general the food was fine, I tended to eat the Egyptian and oriental food they offered, to try it, but also figuring they know best how to make this. it was tasty, also especially the Indian curries made by an Indian guy and Egyptian breakfast beans. nice!! I didnt try the EU food too much so cannot fully comment. one time we ate at the "Italian" restaurant and it was pretty meh what I had. The animation and music and noise and so on would have been annoying if we had been in rooms nearer to the stages, but we had a lovely quiet room away from all that. But I guess this is common on all these types of hotels. baby shark for the kids and all that...
